Let’s run through some highlights of the new releases on Netflix today: Unlocked (2017) Genre: Action, Drama, Mystery, Thriller Director: Michael Apted Cast: Noomi Rapace, Orlando Bloom, Toni Collette, John Malkovich Runtime: 98 min
This action-heavy movie features Noomi Rapace who has appeared in two Netflix Originals now including Close and What Happened to Monday. It’s about a CIA interrogator who is found to be part of a plot that will see London suffer a devastating biological attack. Much like most of her other movies, this movie split audiences down the middle scoring a 46 on Metacritic and 6.2 on IMDb.
Beats (2019) Netflix Original Genre: Drama, Music Director: Chris Robinson Cast: Paul Walter Hauser, Anthony Anderson, Uzo Aduba, Emayatzy Corinealdi Runtime: 110 mins

Big Kill (2018) Genre: Action, Western Director: Scott Martin Cast: Jason Patric, Lou Diamond Phillips, Christoph Sanders, Scott Martin Runtime: 126 min
Need a new Western to sink your teeth into? Then this could be up your alley. Featuring a big cast and a director who has worked on the likes of Don’t Kill It, On Wings of Eagles and Battle Force, this movie is set back in the Wild West following a band of gamblers on the run. The movie scored just over 40 on Metacritic with critics praising the cinematography but saying that overall, it suffers from a lacking engaging plotlines and not adding anything new to the genre which has seen a resurgence in recent years.
Bob Lazar: Area 51 & Flying Saucers (2018) Genre: Documentary Director: Jeremy Kenyon Lockyer Corbell Cast: Bob Lazar, George Knapp, Jeremy Kenyon Lockyer Corbell, Mickey Rourke Runtime: 97 min
This documentary takes a look behind the whistleblower of Area 51 and the supposed conspiracy theories that now surrounds the elusive military base. It manages to track down the physicist who blew the lid open who has gone into hiding in recent years.
Running for Grace (2018) Genre: Adventure, Family, Romance Director: David L. Cunningham Cast: Jim Caviezel, Matt Dillon, Ryan Potter, Juliet Mills Runtime: 110 min
Written and directed by David L. Cunningham, this movie takes you back to the 1920s in Hawaii. We follow a coming-of-age journey of a young man looking to break all the rules by looking to date forbidden love. The movie only saw a limited release last year so the chances are, this is your first opportunity to watch so if you love your romance movies, this is for you.
